About Christie

Christie Rainbeau is a retired high school science teacher with 25 years of experience in Hillsborough County Public Schools. She has transitioned into a second career in counseling, where she draws on her extensive experience and compassion to support individuals facing complex challenges in work, relationships, and mental health.

Christie believes that emotions such as fear, anger, guilt, and sadness are natural, and acknowledging them is crucial for healthy emotional processing. Her approach empowers clients to confront these emotions, set boundaries, heal from past wounds, and gain deeper insight into their emotional lives.

She works with adults (18+) navigating life transitions and offers grief counseling for those coping with loss, whether from the death of a loved one or other significant life changes. With a deep understanding of the complexities of modern parenting and family dynamics, Christie also provides support for families facing mental health struggles.

Having experience in the 12-step community, Christie offers addiction recovery support in a safe, inclusive space. Her practice is LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming to individuals from all cultural and racial backgrounds, fostering a compassionate environment for all.
