​Christie Rainbeau, a retired high school science teacher with 25 years of experience, has transitioned into counseling to support individuals with challenges in work, relationships, and mental health. She specializes in grief counseling and offers support for families and addiction recovery in a safe, inclusive environment. Her practice is LGBTQ+ friendly and welcomes clients from all cultural and racial backgrounds. Christie creates a compassionate space for clients to explore and address their emotional needs.

My Therapy Approach:

Christie’s approach to therapy empowers clients to acknowledge and confront difficult emotions, set healthy boundaries, and heal from past wounds. She incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals gain deeper insight into their emotional lives and live in alignment with their values. Christie’s practice also draws on her knowledge of the 12-step recovery and her commitment to providing a compassionate, inclusive space for all.

In My Spare Time:

Outside of sessions, Christie enjoys hiking, meditating, cooking, and exploring the creation of herbal remedies. Her strong connection to her ancestors and land spirits plays a significant role in guiding her personal journey of growth and self-improvement.

 

My Availability:

Christie is currently accepting new clients for individual clients for online sessions and in-person sessions at both Lutz and Brandon locations.
